"Law of Attraction" talks about the intensity of desire which helps you acquire "what you want". As per wikipedia.org
 


The law of attraction is the name given to the maxim "like attracts like" which in New Thought philosophy is used to sum up the idea that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life. [1] [2] This belief is based upon the idea that people and their thoughts are both made from "pure energy", and the belief that like energy attracts like energy.
If you talk about "Management Perspective", it says "Fix a Goal first" and then follow it rigorously to achieve "That Goal".  Even in life we are tutored day in and day out by our parents, teachers and peers "Do this" and "you will achieve that". 

In reality, it's different 
Saurabh Leekha, author "It's Destiny, My Love" through his book talks about "Destiny or Niyati" as the sole means for acquiring your desires. The protagonist in the book does not have a strong desire of achievement but circumstances (here destiny) force him to respond to the challenges which ultimately lead to the fulfillment.
Saurabh, through his book argues that you can "desire" only if "destiny" is in your favor.
